User Guide
Everything you need to connect your wallet, mint, and evolve your Cyborg NFTs.
Getting Started
1) Connect Your Wallet
Use the Connect Wallet button in the header. Make sure your wallet is connected to the correct network shown in the header. Once connected, you can access minting and profile features.
Minting Basics
Origins
Anyone can mint Origins by selecting a character (token ID) and quantity.
Wallet limit: max 5 per token ID
Ascendant
Ascendant is available to Origins holders. Minting keeps your Origins intact. Burning permanently converts Origins into Ascendant 1:1.
Wallet limit: max 3 per token ID
Sentience
Sentience is the final form and is burn-only. You must burn Ascendant 1:1 to obtain Sentience.
Wallet limit: max 2 per token ID
Evolution (Burn Mechanics)
⚠️ Warning: Irreversible Action
Burning NFTs is permanent and irreversible. Once burned, the original NFT cannot be recovered. Always double-check the token ID before confirming.
Character-Locked Evolution
Evolution is always 1:1 and character-locked. That means you can only burn token ID X to mint token ID X in the next stage.
Origins → Ascendant
On the Ascendant page, choose the burn option to destroy Origins and mint Ascendant in a single transaction.
Ascendant → Sentience
On the Sentience page, burn Ascendant to mint Sentience 1:1. Direct minting is disabled for Sentience.
Fees, Limits, and Safety
Limits
Limits apply per wallet per token ID (character). If a transaction fails, check whether you hit a wallet limit or supply cap.
- Wallet limits apply per wallet per character (token ID).
- Supply caps apply globally per character, regardless of wallet.
Gas + Confirmation
Your wallet will show network gas fees and request confirmation. After submitting, wait for the transaction to confirm before retrying.
Troubleshooting
Wallet won’t connect
Make sure you’re on the correct network, then disconnect and reconnect from the wallet menu. If you switched accounts, refresh the page.
Mint/Burn fails
Common causes: insufficient balance for price + gas, wallet limit reached, supply cap reached, or missing approval for burning.
NFT doesn’t show in wallet
Some wallets require manually adding the collection contract to display ERC-1155 tokens. Your profile page should still reflect ownership once the transaction confirms.
